A Weekend-Long Reminder
21 . 4 . 2025
Hello everybody,
I hope you’ve had an eggcellent (hehe, I had to) Easter weekend, whether you indulged in a large, home-cooked feast or enjoyed a more low-key, relaxing few days. Below I’ve attached a list of ideas of how to use up those leftover Easter chocolates (unless, of course, they’ve already been eaten).
Most importantly, something that is often overlooked is reflecting on why Easter weekend is celebrated in the first place. This is the weekend we remember Jesus dying on the cross. But that’s not all! He died on the cross for US… so all our sins can be forgiven. He took the blame for our wrongdoings. Yes, it’s quite an emotional [true] story, but on the third day Jesus rose from the dead, to demonstrate that He is our King. This weekend reminds us to ask for forgiveness and remember that we HAVE been forgiven, allowing us to live a peaceful, saved life.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” 1 John 1:9
Lots of love, Cara
