Use What YoU’ve Got
9 . 5 . 2025
Hello everybody,
Have you ever broken a bone or had an injury that stops you from doing the things you want to do? Well, recently my arm got injured, which led to weeks of recovery and physio, stopping me from going to my weekly Pilates classes, baking, and even completing simple daily tasks. Through this season, I’ve been reminded how important it is to use what you’ve got. If we are able to move our bodies and use what we’ve been given, then I think we should truly make the most of it. You see, most days we overlook this, but once it’s gone or you are limited in some way, you appreciate how much of a gift it is to be able. Able to move, able to exercise, able to talk, able to study, able to travel, able to eat. Just able. Make it something you strive for every day: to use what you’ve got. That’s what God would want us to do.
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well”, Psalm 139:14
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”, 1 Peter 4:10
Lots of love, Cara
