Something I want to encourage everyone to do (including myself), is to shine their light. What I mean by this, is that we should all be the best versions of ourselves. Not in a flashy, self-centred way, but rather in a way where those we talk to and are around, see who we truly are and the light that shines within us, that makes us, us. To me, this light comes from Jesus.

A goal of mine, is that every person I talk to, no matter who they are, will see Jesus in me. I want to be confident in who God has created me to be, using all the gifts and talents I have been blessed with, to shine His light. I saw this quote, “Guide us, so we can guide others to You” and wow, how spectacular!! By doing so, I want to be able to share God’s love and peace to all those I encounter. This can be through my words yes, but also my actions.

How we treat people, along with the things we say, can truly have a big impact on others. Even one kind sentence or a smile, can make a difference.

So, shine your light for others to see. Let people get to know the real, genuine, amazing you… and most importantly, shine His light in all that you do, so you can guide others closer to Him!

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
