Dream Big, Why NOt?

18 . 02 . 2026

We all have dreams or goals, right?! I do for sure. Some are big and some small, but if you know me, then you’ll know that I am always dreaming up ideas for all sorts of things. I think it is so important to have something you strive for, work for and dream of, because having goals allows you to have something you can look forward to. Being excited about the future, has the opportunity to shift your mindset to a positive one.

You may be thinking, “okay, but I don’t know what my goals should be” or “my dreams are too irrational”. Well, it doesn’t have to be this well-thought-out, fancy plan, but can be simple and truly be about anything. Find something that inspires you and makes you excited for the future. The Bible says (see verses below), we are all given unique gifts by God, and we should use these gifts to live out our purpose and dreams in life, whatever that may be, big or small. Our goal, here on Earth, is to give glory to God in all that we do. This will, however, look different, because each of our gifts that we have received are unique.

Now, to take this a step further, let’s put these plans in to action, turn them into a reality. Allow yourself to dream big (why not) and bring those dreams to life.

These desires are in our heart for a reason. Maybe (actually, I know) it’s part of something bigger. God made us on purpose, for a purpose, so there is no harm in dreaming and dreaming BIG. Get excited about the future!

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”

1 Peter 4:10

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully”

Romans 12:6-8

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”

Ephesians 2:10
