Will this be a fashion trend in 2024?
As someone who loves fashion, I am fascinated with what styles will become popular in the new year. Will it be similar to last year’s trends or will there be a completely new aesthetic for 2024? So, I thought it would be fun to guess fashion trends for this year.
Fashion (and beauty) trends may come and go, but in the end, I believe it’s important to just wear whatever makes you feel confident, even if it’s not “trendy” at the moment!
Denim clothing
Of course denim is a staple in most people’s wardrobes, but I think this year, denim in general (& not just jeans) will play a big role in 2024 style.
Denim goes with anything and can be dressed up or down, so no wonder it has always been popular.
2. crocheted items
Crocheted fashion may sound odd. You may be thinking of soft, patterned blankets and baby clothes made by your grandmothers.
However, crochet has become more than that, especially in fashion. It can create a comfortable, casual and somewhat “beachy” vibe to your outfit.
3. SIlver Jewellery
For many years now, gold jewellery has been the trend. However, recently I’ve noticed many people wearing silver accessories and even mixing the metals. I personally think mixing silver and gold can look really nice.
Are you a gold or silver person? Maybe both?!
4. Stripe shirt & boxer sets
These pyjama-inspired sets are effortless, yet somewhat put-together outfits. They are a great option when you don’t know what to wear and want to be comfortable.
When styled correctly, it can look quite chic. I would pair this style of clothing with sneakers or sandals, a more “dressy” handbag and some jewellery to make it look like you’ve put more effort into your outfit than what you actually did.
5. Tennis necklaces
With tennis season at the beginning of each year, of course it’s only natural that “tennis fashion” becomes popular. However, I think tennis necklaces specifically, will be a 2024 favourite.
These necklaces are very classy, delicate and goes with any outfit (smart or casual)!
